Specialized training in ethics and compliance has started today in Sarajevo for over 30 public and private sector representatives from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The training is organized as part of the project “Combating Corruption with a New Generation of Ethics and Compliance Experts” supported by the US Embassy in BiH.

The aim is to provide support to persons involved in anti-corruption and business compliance monitoring through their work activities, thus contributing to the development of the organization they come from in terms of business improvement and compliance with standards in this area. The training is tailored to beginners in this field as well as those who have some experience but need additional knowledge.

The training is organized in 5 modules, lasting 14 days, and today started the first module, which lasts until 18.10.2019. The first module of education deals with the topics of history of the emergence of the profession of Compliance Officer, their role and position in the organization, the relationship with senior and middle management, the internal control system and the relationship of the function of compliance with internal audit.

The next, second in a row, module starts on 28/10/2019. for three days and will address topics of compliance risk assessment within the organization.
