Today, the second module of specialized training in ethics and compliance has been completed, with over 30 public and private sector representatives from Bosnia and Herzegovina participating. The training is organized as part of the project “Combating Corruption with a New Generation of Ethics and Compliance Experts” supported by the US Embassy in BiH.

This module was dedicated to assessing the risk of non-compliance across the organization, including corruption and other irregularities, as well as assessing the risks arising from third-party operations. The guest speaker on the module was Mr. Mirza Bavčić, CEO of Express Courier d.o.o. Sarajevo, which is an authorized representative for UPS in Bosnia and Herzegovina, who conveyed to the participants the experiences of this domestic company and the obligations that the company must fulfill as a third party of a reputable international company.

Next, the third in a row, the module starts on 13/11/2019. The module will be organized over a period of three days and will deal with the organization’s procedures governing the area of integrity, such as conflict of interest procedures, donations, sponsorships, gifts and hospitality, as well as the Code of Ethics.
